Two better than one

I purchased my second Subnado and used it with my family and then as a tandem set up so that I could experience real speed. Can’t wait to take it back to Hawaii and go through the Waimea Bay rock tunnel. This allows to navigate through tighter spaces without the need for wide strokes with arms and legs for acceleration.

PERFECT FOR SCUBA DIVING

I lost the use of my legs due to Covid. I could not propel myself underwater scuba diving. With over 700 dives, that was devistating for me. I saw the add for Waydoous and gave it a try. I bought 2 so that I could do multiple dives in a day between charging. THEY WORK PERFECTLY!! Way easy to carry, handle and use under the water. Waydoous have restored my ability to scuba dive.

Great Scooter for a Great Price

It has a good amount of thrust. Don't compare it to a 75 lb. propulsion vehicle. However, it weighs only six pounds and provides travel friendly thrust that can stretch out your swim or dive to get you out to the reef or down the river. I have traveled with it overseas in my daypack several time and never got hassled in airport security. I take it out snorkeling on the beach and everyone wants to try it. I use it to get me down to the bottom leaving me with more bottom time to take pictures and quickly come back up. I can scoot on over to the next area with little effort and shoot back down to the bottom. I have used in during seaches wearing full dive gear to glide over my grid area faster. It has been well worth the money.

Feel ripped off

I already have two standards that work great and ordered two additional standard subnados less than a month ago and now I see them for $59 cheaper so I have been ripped off $118. for the two I purchased on 10/20/25
Could I get a credit?

Great product but some issues….

I’m an avid scuba diver, and the Subnado is a game changer. Mounted with the (optional, extra cost) tank bracket, it’s an awesome—and powerful—tool. And fun! BUT, they’ve got an issue with the thumb controllers. I have four Subnados, and the thumb controllers on all of them have failed. The unit itself has a one-year warranty, but the thumb controller’s warranty is only six months. It seems like they haven’t perfected the seal on the controller plug, and despite greasing the o-rings regularly, the little connector pins keep getting green oxidation, and then the controller stops working. It’s just a matter of time. Their warranty service is pretty good (Arts is super friendly and responsive), but lately their auto-reply e-mail says it’ll take some time, since they’re very busy with after-sales warranty work. Probably not a great sign….

In summary, great product with a seeming defect that requires regularly buying $35 replacement controllers. Hopefully they can fix it soon. Seems like they must be aware of it since for the new Subnado Plus, they advertise it as having better waterproof connectors.
